No you are the fucking asshole. Don't argue Both ends and you wont be called on it.
To put it simply, if you were " surprised at how much more enjoyable photography had become once I started using the A series and later lenses" Then why don't you want option to "enjoy" AE with manual focussing K/M lenses too? The Manual focussing function and the lost K/M AE functions are two completely different unrelated functions. And I didn't suggest removal of the manaul or GB modes whatsoever So that's not an excuse to say the cam sensor and AE would Replace the manual modes you seem to still like even though You admitted earlier ( in the same breath, no less, hehe) , more automated lens functions are "much more enjoyable" to use. That's plain out Rubbish dude. jco -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Shel Belinkoff Sent: Saturday, October 21, 2006 12:48 PM To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List Subject: RE: The JCO survey DUH ... I can enjoy both the modern and the old ways of shooting. I've been trying to be nice, but you make it very difficult. I'm tempted to call you a fucking asshole, but I'll refrain from such behavior and language. Read my original post again. Read every word carefully. Perhaps you need to read it several times in order to understand it. I said that the lack of the simulator is of little consequence to me, which is not quite the same as saying it's of no importance.
