The *istD was a "bottom of the line" DSLR camera when It was the only one they ever made due to Its features and prices in the overall DSLR Camera market. When the newer models came out the Bottom just went further down at real cheap prices. Actually, it was their top of the line DSLR when it was introduced,. They then put a bunch of lesser cameras on the market. The istD wasn't missing anything that would cause it to be considered a bottom end camera. It didn't sell for bottom of the line pricing, BTW. The istD is still the top of the line Pentax DSLR for a variety of reasons. William Robb -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
