Hello dear Godfrey, sorry if my words aren't so clear (I apologize, but the english isn't my native language);
to be paranoid, to me, means to love an item (or a woman), also knowing this isn't the best thing that the market (or the world) can offers. I love this lens since I owned it for a short time, one year and half ago: after my lens was stolen, six months ago, and I, also now, am waiting for one other similar. In second way I'm a collector, that has the more popular and fine FA lenses.. This is my simple explanation.. Sorry again if it sounds not fine for you, but that's all I can tell you.
