The only price advantage I see from digital is if you don't print everything which, in our idle Western Hemisphere way, is the default with analogue. In other countries, I've seen most people examining their negatives to decide which shots to print. By the time they have to buy the equipment and time to do it themselves, or pay for more expensive digital prints, they will see no financial advantage. Only the high turnover photographer benefits financially from digital and then marginally once equipment writeoff is taken into account.
