Yesterday I received a call from Citicards informing me that Mike had
returned my $250 deposit on November 14th. Citicards admitted they had not
posted the transaction and had no explanation other than "that's a different
department" why every time I called them they had no record of the funds
being returned. Earlier in the day yesterday they told me they had searched
back six months and found no returned funds! Today my online statement still
does not show it.

I apologize to Mike and am willing to accept that the whole business was a
combination of stress and mishandling by citicards exacerbated by the long
time it took to get it sorted out.
