Wired magazine's issue with "the best gadgets and gizmos on the planet
2007" has Pentax K100D as their "Best of test" digital SLR, with a score
of nine out of ten.

Qoute: "Peter Parker would be proud; Pentax's retro-cool K100D offers
professional single-lens-reflex quality at a price any cub photographer
can afford. In our tests, images shot at up to ISO 1600 were as
blemish-free in low light as those produced by more-expensive SLRs.
Color fidelity was excellent, too, except photos became reddish in very
dark environments."

Retro-cool?
