Trigger voltage on that flash is probably around 12v.  We've all read
conflicting reports on what voltage a Pentax digital camera will
actually tolerate.  Some say it's as high as 30v, but I wouldn't risk
it.  Get a hot shoe adapter that limits voltage to the camera body.
The Wein SafeSync will cut it back to 6v.
