A group or mates hired Wakefield Park racetrack just outside Goulburn NSW on
Wednesday for a motorcycle track day. Last time I did a track day at that
track, I
had a 160kph (100mph) crash, so I didn't take part this time. Instead, I took
the
K10D and cheap Sigma 70-210 zoom and 'orrible Vivitar 400mm manual focus lenses
to the track.

Having never tried shooting such subject matter it was a steep learning curve
and
not having fast lenses meant shooting above 400 iso much of the time. Still, I
got a
few shots I'm reasonably happy with and I was VERY impressed with how well the
K10D performed.

The shots in the gallery are a bit distorted in the gallery page, you have to
click on
the image to get it to open in it's own window to get a proper, sharp version
which
is annoying.
