Yes, update your system setup to Camera Raw v3.6. Although the numbers are mostly irrelevant, it seems to put the adjustments into a better range for adjustability purposes.
I also run the RAW/DNG files from the K10D through DNG Converter v3.6, to save space on disk, and do my conversions on those files. I tested against the original DNG files and don't see any differences. This is a typical output image, one of a batch of portraits I made of my friend, with absolutely no adjustments or sharpening at all. It was rendered straight to JPEG/sRGB from Camera Raw v3.6. I overlaid the Camera Raw adjustments to give you an idea of what I've set as CR defaults for the K10D as well as the exposure data from the camera. http://homepage.mac.com/godders/K10D-example-1070.jpg (about 250K) The K10D is a stunning performer and that FA20-35 ain't half-bad neither. ;-) Godfrey On Dec 29, 2006, at 11:43 AM, Gonz wrote: > Download the latest camera RAW plugin from adobe, I had the same > problem > with the K100D. > > rg > > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: >> Hi! >> >> First of, indeed my K10D has this banding.
