Doesn't that somehow just ask for a specific noise profile for the K10D for
the noise reduction software or are you profiling each image or just use the
defaults on the blue channel?

I saw some blue channel noise when I shot at 1600 ISO and underexposed
too much.  It seemed less forgiving than the *istD for that situation.
