Now that is one thing you can definitely blame on Windows.
Windows Mobile only allows for some specific screen resolutions.
That includes 320x240 and 240x240 (and even 640x380), but not
320x320.

That said, though, the 240x240 on a 700w looks pretty darn sharp.
