Thanks for your responses.  I will try out the Tokina and Pentax versions as
well before I make a final decision...it's just that I've been using mostly
Vivitar 28-70 and 70-210 zooms without Auto capability (I have a Super
Program and a P5), and to be able to give them both up for better optics and
convenience would be a plus!
