Yes, I understand the deal with the battle flag (what most Americans 
call the Confederate flag).

Regardless of what it is/was (and knowing that it had no official 
standing) the confederate "battle flag" is a symbol of racism to most 
black Americans and it just baffles me why it is flying over the Capitol 
at Richmond, Virginia.
