www.spaceweather.com has good info.

They've also heard from people today that the darned comet is visible  
IN DAYLIGHT.

If that's the case, it should still be visible to us (when carefully  
viewed) here in the North hemisphere later in the week.  Neato!

(But it's close to the sun so you have to take precautions)

I have a crappy 500mm no-name mirror lens that I might throw into  
service for a while and see if I can take anything usable with it on  
the DS.

Probably not, though.  That's one baaaaaad piece of optics.
