It's mostly their fault, though. :-)  When Office 97 wanted to replace
KERNEL.EXE (one of the main operating system files) I almost blew a
gasket.  They don't exactly set a good example for "development and
system hygiene".  And they're the one that created "DLL Hell" in the
first place, by hacking some odd something together without thinking
the issue through.  I'm about ready to go to work as a bus driver or
something. :-)
