My production system is Photoshop CS2 + Bridge + Camera Raw (current version of CR is 3.6). Lately I'm using Lightroom v4.1beta more and more of the time: it has some RAW control capabilities that are easier to use and I like the organizational features, they're nicely arranged for efficient selection, grouping and rating. Both allow setting a linear gamma encoding option in their tonal adjustment tools. I rarely use it as the rest of the adjustment options allow satisfactory flexibility to express the tonal values I want, particularly with Lightroom. Other RAW converter options compatible with the K100D that I've used are RAW Developer, Silkypix, Bibble, dcraw, Aperture, Vuescan, and LightZone. In my testing, I found the supplied Pentax Photo Browser/ Lab v3.1 to be the worst choice. Godfrey -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
