Well, I finally got my K10D; not from Dell, who still hasn't gotten it in, but from Best Buy, which had a special on the Kit for $899. Took two days from order to delivery. The camera feels really solid, and I'm glad I had the advantage of reading of people's experiences here so I knew not to worry when I heard the IS mechanism moving! I'm letting the batteries (for the body and the grip) fully charge before using it, and I hope to actually post a photo or two.
