I've had three Sigmas, and still have one.

APO 70-300 F4.5.6 Macro. Really sucked at 300 mm. Images appeared out of 
focus, especially at the edges. It's gone. (FWIW, many people think the 
Tamron LD 70-300 is better. I haven't tried it.) I wonder how bad the 
non-APO version must be.

EX 70-200 F2.8. The older version. This is a very good lens, really a 
cult lens. The current macro DG version is not as good optically as the 
current non-macro DG version (which is just a DG version of the earlier 
one that I have). Still have it.

EX 180 F3.5 Macro. Also very good. I sold it on the list last spring 
when I got the FA* 200 F4 Macro.

A number of people are now finding focusing issues with some Sigma lenses.
