Correct. Nothing has changed since then and I think
you are wrong on the date, I said that in 2006. The DSLR BODIES
are still in the early evolving stage and they ARE
"disposable" in that sense. The lenses, which in a
system context, cost far, far more than the body
are not "disposable" however (except maybe the DA
lenses if FF ever becomes the defacto standard someday) . Thats why I
didnt
buy the K10D for now, I would rather wait for something
much better in only a few years to use seriously, I bought this istDS
only because
I had a valid business reason for it and it met the needs,
and the K10's features were not needed at this time, I didnt
buy it to replace any of my current higher quality camera
systems....Its of limited use to me and a K10D would not
change those limits. I want something an order of magnitude
better than APS 6-10MP before I am going to get real excited
about digital slr photography. FF format IMHO would would be a good
start
for a multitude of reasons.

On October 20, 2004 you called them disposable cameras with a 5 year
life
expectancy before they were obsolete.
