I don't understand the part about less violence? I guess it's OK to say film or digital is a matter of taste or preference. I guess it is.
But film is fine, if you can afford it, and if you make sure to carry a variety of films - from 100 ASA to 1600 ASA, all the time. Personally I use film (120) for high resolution shots, like aerial photography or group portraits. And for fun - shooting B&W or slides. Otherwise I use digital - for 95% I guess. And hey - keep buying film, please, if you want somebody to keep on making it. He liked to help film neophytes understand that film preference can be a very personal thing. Then he'd show them either Fuji Superia or Kodak Tri-X. In related news, the same manager was recently offered $8/hr at a local Wolf Camera. That's barely above minimum wage here. Obviously he turned them down. It's no wonder Wolf and Ritz suck so much. John P.S.: they also suck because of all the Quantaray crap they carry, but that's beside the point. -- http://www.neovenator.com http://www.cafepress.com/neovenatorphoto -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net -- No virus found in this incoming message.
