I've seen this issue before and thought I told you what to do: - Insert DVD - Reboot holding down the C key so the system starts up from the DVD - When the Installer starts the DVD verification, press the skip button I've never had anyone at the Apple helpline or at an Apple Retail Store refuse to help me when I bought a new product, like a system release, and had trouble installing it regardless of whether the machine I was installing it onto was in or out of warranty. Tip: Don't look for support on a now-expired AppleCare Protection Policy. Look for support on the NEW product you just bought. ;-) G -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
