Thing is, part of the attraction of the 645n is its small size.  Give it
interchangeable backs and its just like any other 645.  Plus, you can
still preload inserts for quick film changes, you just can't change
mid-roll without wasting the rest of the roll.  If you're in that
situation where you want to go from film to film quickly, why not shoot
120 instead of 220?  Then you're only shooting 15 shots per roll.

Oh, and the inserts are less than a third the price of a back for a
'blad, despite the similar body prices.  That should be taken into
account, too.

I think that supersizing the 645n to accomodate interchangeable backs
would be like supersizing the MZ-3 to get a faster drive speed out of it.
