What you need you, boy, is an E-20. Just the thing for portraits and
weddings. Look Ma, no scans!

P.S. A very brief review of the Pentax Optio 330 which I finally got to use
yesterday. It's TINY. I mean it makes most point-and-shoots look
Brobignagian (hope I spelled that right...don't want to offend any of you
who happen to be from Brobignag). It's slightly smaller and slightly thicker
than a pack of cigarettes. For a camera, it looks smaller than that.
Weentsie. Did I mention tiny?

Two observations: I wondered if it would be comfortable to hold, and for me
it's VERY comfortable. And I have big hands. You sort of pinch it in between
your right thumb and forefinger, and rest the bottom of the camera on your
curled ringfinger. That sounds more awkward than it is. It's got a
teensy-weensy little lens clad in shiny metal--"cunning." You've got to be
careful to keep your left hand from covering the flash, but overall I found
it fell to hand very nicely--better than average and much better than I
expected.

Second, I have no clue what people are talking about when they say it
doesn't focus in low light. I was in a not-very-brightly-lit store interior
and it focused fine. In fact, generally it's faster to focus than my
Olympus.

Third (okay, so I thought of another) it's a very easy camera to use. I
swear you can tell the difference between digital cameras made by camera
companies and cameras made by electronics companies--the former are
generally just better laid out and more ergonomic. Not for nothing all those
years of figuring out how things work best. Anyway, as I was saying, this is
NOT an all-purpose digicam--it's a shirtpocket camera that you'd take along
anywhere--a note-taker, a snapshot camera. It's very simple to operate,
comfortable to use, and quite nicely built--it looks cool.

Mikey liked it. Back to cleaning my office! SAVE ME PENTAXERS!!!!!!!!
