Sun Tour made excellent gear in that era. Have a Superbe read
derailleur and I LOVE IT. Kinda wish they'd not gone out of business.
Shimano is overpriced and Campy, being better than shimano, still
doesn't match the feel of the old friction gear. I have Campagnolo on
my Habby http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=332536526&size=l and
it's the weakest link on the entire bike. The shifting doesn't *feel*
right.

And it doesn't feel like it has the durability to be slammed into gear
like the old suntour gruppo does

Maybe it's the perspective, but that frame looks REALLY small. What size is it?
