I wouldn't have, either. We returned home last night after 13 hours in the car with an ill, crying baby. Much fun. I can't wait to do it again. Surprisingly, the Xterra delivered us about 20 miles for every gallon of fuel we burned. The last time we took a road trip she only wanted to go 16 miles, so I was as pleased as I could be paying $3/gallon. Spent a week with my parents near Fontana Dam, NC. Took a few hundred pictures.
