I have an *ist DL and I use either rechargeable CRV3 lithiums or hybrid NiMH AAs. I found the CRV3s on eBay under the Juice brand. The batteries were fairly inexpensive along with the charger but it is a slow charger and having two chargers and at least four CRV3s would be the ideal way to go as a charge takes roughly 6-12 hours. For the hybrid NiMH AA cells I purchased the new Rayovac hybrid locally but other contenders are the Eneloops (and likely others too). I haven't had these long enough to comment but they were indeed holding all or most of their capacity out of the packaging. Along with these I pack a backup set of Energizer lithium CRV3s. A nice bonus is the slightly higher voltage of CRV3s means the AF is a bit faster. A disadvantage is that some rechargeable CRV3s are too high a voltage and the camera refuses to work (I got lucky with the Juice ones). -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
