To take advantage of a rebate (which expired 4/30) and since neither B&H nor Adorama had the flash in stock, I ordered it from Adorama because they were accepting orders while B&H wasn't. IAC, I returned the flash to Adorama hoping for a replacement. As it happened before I discovered the zoom problem, the rebate documents had been placed in the mail. I was eventually advised that Adorama had sent the flash to Pentax for repair and I should allow 6 weeks. Adorama explained that they could not provide a replacement even if in stock as the UPC code had been cut out of the box and Pentax would not accept it for replacement. Wish I hadn't been quite so eager to submit the rebate material.
