Once again you assume nothing changes.  Sorry you miss the point.  Some 
places are unfarmable using current technology and available resources 
and shouldn't be.  These same lands were givin out as farm lands which 
was incomparably more stupid.  It's really stupid to build a large city 
in the middle of a desert, that doesn't mean there isn't sufficient 
water elsewhere.  It's really stupid to grow large amounts of cattle 
where there is no water, but the government facilitates it, until it 
doesn't.  That doesn't change the basic facts.  I already stated in this 
thread that clean water was the major limiting factor, bad planning 
usually by governments makes that matter worse.  But, it seems you like 
to throw out nonsense factoids of your own.
