Have you set the flash "symbol/slow" in the camera's FN menu? If so, next, press the "OK" button twice. Press the flash "symbol/UP" button. Flash trailing curtain sync mode appears to be the second stop from the left. Hope helps. My K10D has been sent to Pentax for repair, so can't dbl check it.
