Not a chance. It happened so fast even my supernaturally-fast reflexes
<g> couldn't respond that quickly. I was in a fast left turn when the
front found a slick spot so the first things to hit were my left knee
and hand, followed by left hip, left shoulder and the left side of my
head.

Doc Lisa and a friend who's a former EMT were the first ones to reach
me after the crash, so I was in good hands from the beginning :) Lisa's
looking forward to removing my stitches tomorrow and she took my x-rays
to one of her orthopedic friends who confirmed that my fiberglass
splint is pretty much optional: to be used for comfort and protection.
I'm on the comeback trail now!
