Many years ago finding this orchid would be a pleasant surprise. Nowadays not finding it would be a surprise. They grow everywhere. I googled a little to find the English name (broadleaf helleborine, Epipactis helleborine ) and to my surprise it's native in North America since 1879 and is considered a weed!
