If you want to spend some real money I have a KX MD in my collection (condition at least 8.5-9). Everything works except the metering in the viewfinder. Possibly the battery is not getting power to the meter or the camera altogether. Have a fully working regular KX I got from my brothers collection as a donor which does all work (outside is about 6 maybe, kind of what you expect when a pro has worn it out a little). Right now I'm using both as astro cameras because of the MLU. Have the motor drive for it but not a spare battery grip, which you can buy in various places (same as Spotmatic MD as I have a Spotmatic F MD in my collection also). Kent Gittings

(we have some strong candidates) Gimme a KX any day of the week. I've got two and that ain't nearly enough. I want backup, I want spare parts, I want to keep shooting them until I die. Anyone got a mint KX collecting dust that you'll ship me, for, say, twenty dollars? grin. -Lon W - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
