Does Vista need individual drivers for simple external USB storage devices? Good grief... There have been cases of known incompatibilities between the USB controller inside the Giga One and various computers. When this happens, the Giga One isn't recognized at all or you'll experience various problems including the partial file transfers you're talking of. Try connecting the Giga One through a USB Hub. Jobo Germany's website mentions a hub model (GXZ006 by Ultron) that's known to work. >From their website: "Transferring large files Transferring large files from GIGA ONE to PC could cause malfunction with VIA or SIS USB Chip working in your PC. In this case JOBO offers the following possibility: please connect GIGA ONE and PC using an ULTRON USB HUB. Please use GIGA ONE fully charged and not being connected to AC adapter. You could receive the HUB at JOBO's: GXZ006 USB Hub (Ultron) GIGA ONE - 9,90 Euro. " Hope this helps. Ralf -- Ralf R.
