The best way to prevent online theft, while at the same time doing online
displays is to keep the images small (400 or so pixels on the longest side),
with a little too much sharpening and lots of jpeg compression. This won't
stop a
person from saving your pictures to their hard drives, but it will prevent
them from getting a good quality print from them, if they are so inclined.
