Hi Juan,

That's an interesting question, and I'm not sure I have the
right answer...
If the fungus hadn't affected the rear element, maybe the camera
is safe enough. I've read you already opened it: where did the
fungus spread? How much?

Just a tip for the lens cleaning: I usually clean the lenses
with a soft cloth (the one that came with my glasses - do not
use it for the glasses, though) after breathing on the surface;
I usually wait until the breath veil almost vanishes before
passing the cloth on.
