Disk "Mangler" is what Dell used to prepare and format the drive. They didn't include the program in the deal. I guess I'll have to contact the OnTrack folks and see what they say about removal. I'm not sure how I got rid of it years ago. Maybe FDISK / mbr can do the trick but I suspect I'll lose everything on the drive and will have to reinstall it all. May be able to Ghost everything to Zip disks and then Ghost it back when I've re-partitioned the drive.
I think Cleansweep can move working programs to other disks, too. Then I can just move them back, maybe. But I'm not sure whether it will get the registry entries right. I hate mucking through the registry by hand. Maybe a good web and usenet search on "removing disk manager" will yield some enlightenment. Well, this is probably too much on this OT subject already. If anyone has any ideas, please send them to me offline.
