Yeah, I know. But I like the compactness. I almost never use a lens of this focal length at apertures much greater than f/4 anyway. I saw one of the M20/4 lenses go on Ebay for $220 just recently. I was sorely tempted but went for a Nikkor 20/3.5AI from KEH.com instead (for the L1...).
I already have the DA21 for the K10D and have used it on the L1, but it's inconvenient since I have to lock the iris when I fit it to the L1 and the focusing ring is a little light and prone to being moved inadvertently when doing zone focus.
