Don't know whether your intent is to use it on film or digital bodies.

The standard hood is designed for 35mm cameras, it's kinda bulky. For  
the DSLRs I found I got decent flare control and no vignetting with a  
standard metal 58mm screw-in normal lens hood (Kalt or generic from  
B&H, about $9).

Hmm. I just realized that I don't own a single one of those lenses  
anymore!
