Graywolf mentioned my propensity for liking the Optio MX. First off, I've never used it as a video camera, only for still images. Being somewhat physically challenged, I find the movable live view screen easy to use. Also, it's the only so called P&S digital that allows shutter or aperture priority and, if you show desire, full manual exposure. With a 1 gig card I could get over 500 images, or, if I were to use it in video mode, over an hour of movies.
