I think I don't like any of them. A logo needs to be distinctive and instantly recognisable. I don't think these are distinctive and, because of that, I'm not sure they are instantly recognisable. For me, they are too complex (you need to lose the wording) and too grey. Not to be totally negative, some suggestions for the graphic part of the logo: The spots of flare on a multi-element lens. A multiblade aperture with the blades different colours. The lightray diagram (only) through an SLR or complex lens. Tripod legs. You could incorporate the club initials (no more) into the design. In my experience, it seems to be quite hard nowadays (probably always has been...) to design a logo that is both elegant and memorable. For example, I have seen a few variations on the flowing script/background colour as used by Ford/Coca-cola. Not many of them are memorable. The ones that stick in my mind these days are the truly ugly ones. Hope this helps. ----------------------------------------- Email sent from www.virginmedia.com/email Virus-checked using McAfee(R) Software and scanned for spam -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
