I like the "45" one.
I have a few thoughts about it:
1. I wonder if it would have been better to catch the light
reflection that is at the lower part reflecting from the water or 
from the boundary of the water and the brick, rather then from 
the brick alone.
2. The two white spots in the back a bit too strong.
I wonder if toning them down would improve the impression from the
image.
3. Getting a more interesting bokeh from all the lights in the back
could be interesting, but I am not sure if that could be achieved
by playing with the aperture of this lens.

Sorry, the other photo didn't resonate with me.
It reminded me one of the "still life" drawing we had to do in the
4th grade of the school.
