Adam's lovely portraits of his Better Half inspired me to send off one of mine:

I've gotta tell ya, she takes a horrible photo. I mean, I've taken
dozens of her, and very few are worthy of anything but the trash heap.
She's a lovely-looking woman in real-life, and when we first met she
told me she doesn't photograph well. I told her, "Don't you worry,
I'll get a good one of you!" It's been almost a year and a half now,
and I have ~very~ few palatable photos of her. I know that part of
the problem is that she absolutely freezes up when she sees a camera.

This is one of the few that don't make either of us cringe, and even
then it doesn't do her justice. I kind of like her "smiling eyes".

This was taken at the Gelato shop at which I took last week's PESO
(the "Norman Rockwell" one, according to Bob W). While we were there,
she took this one of me:

She's a pretty good photographer (owns an Oly P&S), but don't judge
her by this one: Look at what she has to work with. <g>

cheers,
frank
