Hello gang. I thought I'd share my thoughts on my
great pocket digital.

My little birthday/fathers day gift from my wife, the
Pentax Optio W10, has proved to be quite the
workhorse. I recently reset the image counter and have
clocked another 1,131 images on this dynamo of a point
and shoot. Certainly no record but impressive, IMHO.

I had intended on using the camera as a handy pocket
shooter but I've come to use the camera in my business
to shoot for a client who sells vintage watches
online. The images end up only as 40~50KB sized
640x480 images for his purposes, but the camera
produces quality stuff that in some cases look very,
very good. It has so far paid for itself 15 times
over. Did I mention it shoots video underwater?

So, I put together a gallery of 67 images that I've
done over the last several months that showcase the
terrific image quality that I've been enjoying from
this great little camera. The gallery is in no
particular order and represents a good cross-section
of objects I've been working with. Should be fun for
any of you who are interested in vintage timepieces.

Cheers! (image size ~150Kb, best viewed by hitting f11

PS - I'm throwing the "Leica" watch in there to keep
the thread off-brand but on-topic.
