That's correct. The SP-F has a voltage regulator in the circuit so that
anything 1.35 or higher will work without a problem.

You want the PX625 1.35 volt (mercury) cell.  However, for what it's
worth, my local Pentax service rep says the PX625A 1.5 volt (alkaline)
cell can be used, and will not change the metering.
