aLL OF MY JUMPing film pictures are on Max 400
with some indoor on 800.I tried the fuji band wagon
but found the labs in my town print them out brownish
and bluish, were the max stays pretty close. They use
fuji or konica paper if that makes a difference.
I recently tried and like very much, the Kodak
Royal Gold(Socalled Select Series)400 and will probably
use more of it then the max next show season.
What Max did is unknown,i still get a decent print out
of it.
My Oct PUG of the star trails was using 400 Max

Subject: Why is Kodak Gold Max evil?

I shoot mostly negative film, and I've been using exclusively
Kodak Gold, in speeds 100, 200, and (Max from here to end) 400,
800.

The folks I take my film to print on Kodak paper, and they tell
me they generally see better results with Kodak film.  And yes,
it's a one hour place.

What did Kodak do "wrong" with the higher speed Max film?  I know
they changed it a year or two back when people were fleeing Max for
Fuji.  But I only in the last 6 months or so started using anything
except Gold 100.

Enlighten me, Oh Pentaxians.
