Pop photo says that in bright to moderate light
(EV12~EV6) the D300 was "extremely fast." But got
slower as the EV value dropped into the middle range
(faster than the D40 but slower than the Sony A700 and
Oly E-3).
It was the fastest autofocus pop photo's ever tested
in the low light EV0~EV-2 range, however, mainting an
AF speed of under 1 second.
