Funny, I would have wanted more people in there! In fact, I cropped a bit off the right, due to a large shoe in the foreground, and that unfortunately cropped out a few pedestrians. To me the essence of the photo is that this protester is "living" (if only for a weekend) in a ~very~ public place. As for the guy with the 'pod, I have no idea.
