With 5D's at the $2K USD mark new, the original 1Ds isn't worth much more than $1500 given the much better IQ of the 5D. the 1Ds of course has better AF and MUCH better build, but has worse battery life, a dinky rear LCD and much worse performance over ISO 400. -- M.
