Thanks- Now I can get all geeky and anal with autofocusing! With one exception, I can track my focus misadventures back to myself. The one exception was a Nikon 50mm lens I was adapting to the Canon. Waving hands were in focus, instead of faces. The lens was sent off to the local camera guy, who said there was no trouble with the lens. No adjustments, no charge. Sure enough, it worked correctly when I got it back. Another case of repairman magic.
