Pentax has released details on MZ-L/MZ-6 (+ 28-90 F3.5-5.6 and AF360FGZ):

I don't recall it being mentioned in previous news on the MZ-L, but if I
understand the specs correctly, it does seem to support spot metering
using AE Lock + PF functions.  All in all, a nice merge of features from
MZ-5 and MZ-7 + some more:

AF Servo mode (set by PF)
Spot metering, Spot AF
Advanced Flash (Wireless, P-TTL, High speed sync, flash exposure
compensation)
Custom Pentax functions
Multiple exposure
Exposure bracketing
IR Remote (you can select whether AF is enabled during remote operations)
