Pentax has released details on MZ-L/MZ-6 (+ 28-90 F3.5-5.6 and AF360FGZ): http://www.pentax.co.jp/japan/news/2001/200146.html
I don't recall it being mentioned in previous news on the MZ-L, but if I understand the specs correctly, it does seem to support spot metering using AE Lock + PF functions. All in all, a nice merge of features from MZ-5 and MZ-7 + some more: AF Servo mode (set by PF) Spot metering, Spot AF Advanced Flash (Wireless, P-TTL, High speed sync, flash exposure compensation) Custom Pentax functions Multiple exposure Exposure bracketing IR Remote (you can select whether AF is enabled during remote operations) -- --Lawrence Kwan--SMS Info Service/Ringtone Convertor--PGP:finger/www-- [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.vex.net/~lawrence/ -Key ID:0x6D23F3C4-- - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
